As with high-quality Gyokuros, the selected tea plants are kept in shade before picking to increase chlorophyll content. As a result, our Matcha has a beautiful red-green color and a fine powder texture. Unlike Japanese production, this Matcha has a robust character with lots of volume and the authentic freshness of typical green tea. When you take a sip, you taste the fresh aromas of green tea with a slight sourness in the aftertaste.
